Canada Day Hike Up Mount Roberts!
Join the community for this time honoured and popular hike up Mount Roberts. Every year over 100 hikers ranging in age from 4 to 84, converge at the top for a picnic lunch and to sing the National Anthem while the flag is raised. Most hikers start before 10:00am in order to be at the top for the official flag raising at noon. The trail head is accessed on the Cascade Highway, at approximately the 3km mark. Hikers should be prepared with appropriate shoes, clothes, a hat, a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray and lunch.
