The Rossland Fire department is always looking for new recruits. If you have the commitment, physical ability, desire and dedication to be a part of a team and would like to learn new challenges we have a position for you. As an on-call paid fire fighter you will be given the opportunity to train to the same standard as a career fire fighter. Prerequisites for becoming a fire fighter with the Rossland Fire Department is:

• Physically fit
• Over 18 years of age
• Pass a medical exam
• Possession of a class 5 drivers license
• Live within the 362 area code of Rossland
• Some mechanical aptitude preferred or trade skills
• Commitment
• Must be of good character
• Provide a drivers abstract and criminal records check.
