Chief Gerry Woodhouse

Dedicated to the Cause...

Ever wonder what motivates a person to become a fire-fighter? It's a selfless act of courage, a need to give something back to community and a desire to help those who need help. What else would motivate someone to get up at 3:00 am to go out in a blizzard in full turn out gear to respond to an emergency? Most fire-fighters would say that what they do is no big deal, but what they are actually saying is that there is nothing in the world they'd rather be doing than protecting the lives and safety of others.
