Drift Izakaya

Drift Izakaya is the West Kootenay's first exposure to Japanese Izakaya style dining.

An izakaya is a Japanese pub-style drinking establishment that serves food which accompanies a variety of beverages.  Izakaya's are best known as casual, inviting, inexpensive establishments that serve a variety of small plates ranging from robata, shashimi, tartars, carpaccios and salads to noodles, fried chicken, Chinese, Korean and other world cuisine.

The Drift also carries a large selection of sake, beer, shochu (Japanese/ Korean vodka) and wine.

Hours of operation will be 5pm until close (restaurant will be closed Christmas Day).

The Drift will also be hosting a variety of local bands and DJs so visit the town's newest Japanese pub for great food, drinks and tunes!
